Marissa + Adam + Murphy

Meeting my couples in person is just GREAT!
A blurry video and Zoom connection do not compare
Marissa and Adam are such a lovely couple; beautiful smiles do not seem to leave their faces!
Our session started in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, the weather cooperated so well.
Murphy, a well-behaved and adorable pup joined us, as we continued the session at Lakeshore State Park.
A delightful couple, a precious puppy, and a stunning city of Milwaukee backdrop! What’s not to LOVE!

Sydney + Zach / intimate wedding / Lake Vista Park, Oak Creek, Wi

Kat Wegrzyniak — Tue, 25 Aug 2020 18:09:02 +0000

Sydney and Zach were married in an intimate ceremony, in Lake Vista Park, Oak Creek, WI, surrounded only by the closest family.
Their day was different than they originally planned, but it was light and beautiful!
Planning a wedding in the times of a pandemic can be challenging, but you can never go wrong with the scenic Lake Michigan coast!
After the ceremony, we stopped by Honey Pie, where Sydney and Zach had their first date. Following the brief stop in Bay View, Sydney’s hometown, we went to explore Milwaukee.
Scroll all the way down to see the pictures we took!
Sydney and Zach, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph your absolutely picture-perfect Milwaukee wedding!

Love,
Kat

Cynthia and Paul’s wedding day/ Sanger House Gardens/ Milwaukee

Kat Wegrzyniak — Tue, 16 Jul 2019 02:31:23 +0000

Getting married twice in one day is pretty awesome!

Cynthia and Paul’s wedding day was filled with magic, beauty, amazing people and so much positive energy!

The first, beautiful and intimate ceremony took place in grooms parent’s backyard. Cynthia and Paul traveled from Boulder, Colorado to get married in Brookfield, Paul’s hometown. Grooms mother who is unable to leave the house was honored by witnessing the couple’s vows exchange. What a touching and loving gesture!!

Sanger House Gardens, Milwaukee’s hidden gem, was the backdrop for the couple’s second ceremony. Here, their family and friends witnessed the special moment.

This was a wedding filled with lots of tears of love! The groom cried, the bride cried, mother of the bride, father of the bride, father of the groom, sisters of the groom cried…….even Cynthia’s little nephew cried during his speech! He broke out in tears saying how much he loves auntie, and how happy he is for her!

This was a wedding where the bride was one of the nicest and kindest people I know.
This was a wedding where the bride and groom whispered the vows in each other’s ear.
This was a wedding where the bride’s sister looked like the iconic Uma Thurman in “Pulp Fiction”, but prettier!
This was a wedding with traditional Greek dances around the beautiful gardens of Historic Brewers Hill.
Guests enjoyed traditional Greek food and traditional Greek wedding favors, candy-coated almonds, The Bombonieras.
Cynthia and Paul, I wish you all the best!
Love you!.

Kat and Jake engagement session/ 7 Bridges Trial in Grant Park, South Milwaukee / Third Ward, Milwaukee

Kat Wegrzyniak — Tue, 23 Apr 2019 18:09:34 +0000

I met Kat and Jake to shoot their engagement session in Grant Park, South Milwaukee. We walked down to the beach looking for the signs of spring. Aria, the couple’s puppy was really excited with all the new places and new scents in the air. Despite all the excitement she was so well behaved! Early April in Wisconsin can be cold and dreary. We, however, were fortunate to have warm weather, sun and even a mysterious fog over Lake Michigan!
After our stroll on the beach, we dropped Aria at her puppy daycare and went on to explore city life at Third Ward. Kat and Jake were so easy to work with. They laugh a lot and complement each other’s presence. They are easy going and have certain chemistry which made it a breeze to photograph.
Love is definitively in the air when those two are together!

Katya and Dima / Milwaukee Courthouse wedding.

Kat Wegrzyniak — Sun, 07 Oct 2018 14:00:02 +0000

I love intimate weddings! Katya and Dima’s courthouse wedding was very special and so intimate. I have known them for over 10 years now, I was so happy they chose me to document their big day.

They knew they didn’t want a huge wedding, but they did want to preserve the moment and the sentiment of the occasion. Katya and Dima tied the knot at Milwaukee County Courthouse, surrounded by immediate family members and dear friends.

The ceremony was followed by an elegant brunch at Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro

Congrats newlyweds!

It was a perfect day! Thank you for letting me be a part of it!
