When Danielle and Dermot contacted me about their intimate Milwaukee courthouse wedding, they specifically requested creative portraits.
Danielle said: ” We love the artistic and creative elements of your photos!!!!! We’re open to anything you want to try”.
It felt like a photographer’s dream!
First, to be trusted to document those special moments in their lives, and second, to be given such creative freedom!
I was thrilled because they trusted my artistic eye and wanted to create elegant and timeless art on their wedding day.
Milwaukee courthouse is a gorgeous Neoclassical Revival building completed in 1931. I knew right away I was going to have a lot of beautiful, unique and creative shooting opportunities.
Danielle and Dermot are an international couple. They live in Milwaukee now. Danielle is from Chicago and Dermot is originally from Ireland. Their immediate families traveled from Europe and Illinois to celebrate this special day with the couple.
I love documenting family togetherness as they witness Danielle’s and Dermot’s “I do’s”.

Dream couple, dream venue, dreamy wedding!
